The Executive MBA seeks to cater for higher education needs of practitioners in the areas of Government and administrative management as well as the management of public enterprise and non-governmental agencies.
The programmes run between four (4) and six (6) semesters. Completion time depends on the Executive student’s motivation to satisfy the relevant graduation requirements.
Up to 12 credit points may be granted for the possession of prior academic knowledge and skills in the functional areas of management. This may lead to a reduction of the credit points required for graduation and therefore the time spent on the program.
External Lecture Series and Travel Abroad Program
This is designed to enhance the partnership between the School and the world of work. The external lecture series programme brings executives to the School where they discuss important contemporary issues with the students and faculty.
Executive students also have the opportunity to travel overseas to participate in conferences and workshops, which have positive impact on the programme.
The current fee is $2000 (or its cedi equivalent) per semester. The entire program fee for four semesters is $8000. Courses taken after the fourth semester cost $500 each. Non Ghanaians pay $3000 per semester.
There are two admissions each year, one in February and the other in August.
